North of Silver City are the Cliff Dwellings

I took a few days rest in a little city called Silver City, NM. I stayed in three different places for free for three days (thanks to Ellen, Regina and William) and met a guy originally from Maryland with whom I traveled for the day to the Gila Cliff Dwellings and Gila Hot Springs. I feel groovy and my buttocks are soothed.

Not much to say because I've been relaxing so much, but here are a bunch of photos. I hope you enjoy them!

On the way to the Hot Springs

Awesome color!

My buddy Jake.

Right about here is where I screamed "Happy Birthday Bauer!" to an echoing canyon. I told Jake, "Perhaps someday he'll hear that."

Gila Hot Springs - VERY relaxing and temp was 52 degrees outside.

Flat Stanley was reluctant to get his feet wet, but still interested.
Gorgeous sunset pictures of exfoliating rock formation, probably limestone.
Going here was on my life's bucket list. But on the same day, I added one. Eating roots of cat tails that apparently taste like tubers.

Peace.
